DISSONANCE
noun: a clash resulting from the combination of disharmonious or unsuitable elements.
A tangible tension exists in the space between discord and harmony. Unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and unapologetic, it challenges our idea of what is and what should be. Through reluctant confrontation, we are forced to see difference. We desire to move quickly through this space, back to a place of resolution and equilibrium. However, if we push pause in this moment, there exists: connection in the tension, honesty in the expression, strength in the conviction, and beauty in the edges where we touch.
